Denver, Colo., September 29, 2026— BOA® Technology celebrates 25 years with the expansion of the BOA® PerformFit™ Wrap integration in snowboard boots, scientifically studied and proven to improve stability, control and power transfer, and the launch of the next-generation multi-directional H5 dial platform. Since introducing the first BOA powered snowboard boot in 2001, BOA continues to push snowboard boot fit and performance forward through product innovation, athlete testing, and collaboration with the world’s top snowboard brands.
BOA PerformFit™ Wrap configurations feature strategically designed panels powered by the BOA® Fit System that support a more connected fit through precise adjustments across the foot, ankle, and lower leg. Designed to uniformly wrap key areas of the foot to lock down the heel, increase midsole connection, and distribute pressure evenly across the cuff and midfoot, BOA’s PerformFit™ Wrap delivers a superior fit and proven performance advantages.
Recent BOA Human Performance Fit Lab (HPFL) findings reinforce these benefits, showing that compared to traditional snowboard boot laces, the BOA PerformFit™ Wrap solutions deliver up to 9% improved stability and control and up to 4.5% improved power transfer.

The new H5 dial platform brings micro-adjustable, multi-directional functionality to snowboard boots for the first time, creating a more precise, customizable fit experience. Already proven across categories, including cycling and alpine ski, multi-directional adjustment gives riders the ability to tighten or loosen fit on the fly without fully releasing tension. The mirrored dial user interface creates a consistent experience on each boot, across tongue and side remote mounted dial placements. For snowboard boots equipped with dual H5 dials, H5 delivers additional power and zonal control, enabling a faster and more secure fit.
